25th June, 2025 - Chilanga Cement Plc, a member of the Huaxin Group, officially commissioned the upgraded Kiln 1 and a new Lime Production Line at its Ndola Plant, marking a major milestone in Zambia’s industrial recovery and cement sector transformation.

The revamped Kiln 1 has tripled clinker production capacity from 500 to 1,500 tons per day, while the new Lime Production Line adds 100,000 tons of annual capacity. This expansion not only broadens the company’s product portfolio but also strengthens Zambia’s competitiveness in cement and related materials across the region.
